Market โ€‹

The Market tab lists made-up coins whose prices move live and are the same for every player. Buy and sell them with Cash; coins sit in your Portfolio, so they never use Stash slots. Coins never leave the game and canโ€™t be bought with real money.

Not financial advice

Made-up coins with made-up prices. Nobody, the wiki included, knows where they go next.

Coins โ€‹

CoinTickerTypeSpreadWhat itโ€™s like
๐ŸŒฝ BitcornCORNBlue chip0.1%The big one. Slower, steadier swings, and the rest of the market tends to move with it.
๐Ÿ’  EthernalETRNPlatform coin0.2%Follows the blue chip, with bigger swings both ways.
๐Ÿช™ StablishSTBLStablecoin0.05%Stays close to $1.00. Somewhere to park Cash, though the fee and spread still apply.
๐Ÿ• DoggoDOGOMeme coin1%Big, fast swings. Sometimes it pumps, sometimes it doesnโ€™t.
๐Ÿธ FrogcoinRIBBITMeme coin1%Big, fast swings. Sometimes it pumps, sometimes it doesnโ€™t.
๐Ÿš€ SafeMoonshotSAFURug risk2%The wildest swings on the board. Never put in what you canโ€™t lose.
โ›๏ธ GrindcoinGRNDMined coin0.5%Dug up by Crypto Mining as well as traded, so miners always have some to sell.
  • Bitcorn: The original. Your uncle has a laser-eyes profile picture about it.
  • Ethernal: A world computer that mostly runs pictures of apes. Follows Bitcorn, only louder.
  • Stablish: Worth $1.00, give or take. Mostly give. Somewhere to park your Cash.
  • Doggo: Started as a joke. Still a joke, but now it has a market cap.
  • Frogcoin: Feels good, man. Swings harder than Doggo and knows it.
  • SafeMoonshot: Funds are SAFU, says the anonymous dev. Rug risk: never bet what you canโ€™t lose.
  • Grindcoin: Mined by your rigs one hash at a time. Every coin you dig up is pure profit, on paper.

Fees and spread โ€‹

  • Fee: every trade pays 0.5% of the Cash traded, rounded up to the next $1. On a buy it comes out of the Cash you spend; on a sell it comes out of the proceeds.
  • Spread: each coin has a buy price a little above its market price and a sell price a little below. The spread in the table is the whole gap: you buy at the price plus half of it and sell at the price minus half.
  • Selling pays the proceeds less the fee, rounded down to whole dollars.
  • Example: spending $1,000 on Bitcorn when itโ€™s at $40,000 pays a $5 fee and buys about 0.02486 CORN.

So buying and selling straight back always loses a little. Over time the Market takes Cash out of the game; any edge comes from timing, not the system.

Position caps โ€‹

The most you can have in any one coin grows with your ๐Ÿ“ˆ Trading level: 10,000 ร— level^1.5 dollars, rounded. A buy that would take your holdingโ€™s value (at the current price) over the cap is refused. Selling is never capped, and a holding that grows past the cap on its own is fine.

Trading XP โ€‹

  • Fees: 0.5 Trading XP per $1 of fee, on every buy and sell.
  • Profit: 0.5 XP per $1 of realised profit on a sell, counting profit only up to 20% of the saleโ€™s proceeds. Losses give no profit XP.
  • Holding gives nothing.
  • The usual Trading XP bonuses apply (XP Scripts, Welcome Fren and your DAOโ€™s HQ). Other ways to level: Trading.

Profit is measured against your average cost, what you paid for the coins you still hold. Selling part of a holding takes the same share of its cost.

Mining โ€‹

Every โ›๏ธ Crypto Mining action also mines coins straight into your Portfolio, offline too. Mined coins cost nothing, so their whole sale price counts as profit when you sell.

How trades work โ€‹

  • Trades fill at the live price when they reach the server, not the price on your screen a moment earlier. The game shows an estimate first and the actual fill after.
  • Trading needs a connection. Nothing trades while youโ€™re offline.
  • No leverage, no shorting, no borrowing: Cash can never go negative.
  • Players donโ€™t move prices, so nobodyโ€™s trades can pump or dump a coin for anyone else.
  • Prices refresh about every 15 seconds while the Market is open.

Net Worth board โ€‹

The Net Worth board in the Ranks tab ranks players by Cash plus every coin at the current price, from their last verified sync.
